Registration
The Waupaca Chain Skiers are a Non-profit waterski club that provides FREE shows for the public in the summertime on Rainbow Lake in King, Wi. We have skiers of all age groups and skill levels joining us from all over the country.
Ages
The Waupaca Chain Skiers have members of all age groups from 4 years old into their 80's.
Skiers are required to be able to swim before joining our team.
When
The season begins at the beginning of June and ends in September.
Where
Practices are held on Rainbow Lake off of Grandview Dr. Shows are performed on Rainbow Lake in front of Marden Hall on the Veterans Home grounds.
Practices
Our Main Show Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5-8pm.
Junior practices are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10AM-1PM.
Shows
The team performs up to 12 shows during the summer, schedules vary each year based on holidays and the State Waterski Tournament.

What if I can't ski?
No skiing experience is necessary to join our team. Our team has a variety of resources and experienced skiers that attend junior practices to help coach new skiers progress through their skills.
I cant make all of the practices, can I still join?
Absolutely!
Summer 2025
We offer two registration groups, Skiers and Support. Skiers are anyone who will be skiing at practices and/or in shows. All skiers under the age of 16 are required to have at least one parent/guardian join as a Support member.
Additionally, USA Waterski membership and Wisconsin Waterski Federation memberships are required for participation with the team. Links to those sites are below.
